Under the light of two moons, Baynen stretches out in quiet wonder. Cedarbone trees rise like ancient guardians above fields of smiling flowers, where colour and fragrance drift on the air. Beyond this gentle beauty lies the Mirror Realm and the Hall of Ash, places where the boundaries of the Spirit Realm grow thin and the world feels charged with mystery.

From Paint to Page
Before they became characters on the page, Ogun, Oco and Ooni were brought to life through Simon Webb’s original blacklight body art and cosplay. Designed and portrayed by Simon, these performances formed the visual roots of A Spirit’s Tale and helped shape the personalities, markings and energy of its Spirit Family.
The Journey Continues
Three books are available now. More stories from the Spirit Realm are still to come.
How the Journey Began
The series grew from Simon Webb’s creativity during the 2020 lockdown and his desire to build lasting imaginative worlds for his daughters.
