Explore the Personal About Section for Simon Webb

I am a full-time worker, husband, and father first. Everything else in my creative life fits around those core roles. My journey as a content creator and indie author began during the 2020 lockdown a result of finding light in a challenging time and growing from there. While many recognize me for the UV and blacklight cosplay niche, that is simply what I make, not who I am.

My creative output spans genres, but the core message remains grounded in personal empowerment. I hold a TQUK Level 2 qualification in counselling skills, which informs the perspective of my work and why the message of finding strength matters to me so deeply.

I am not a practising counsellor and this site does not offer counselling services. If you need professional support, please reach out to a qualified professional or your GP.

From 2020 beginnings to the growth of 2022-2024, I continue to build this home base here in 2026.

Creative Outlets

FallenSpiritOfficial

FallenSpiritOfficial is where the creative journey took root during the 2020 lockdown. It serves as my primary space for UV and blacklight content, exploring the visual relationship between neon pigments and absolute darkness. What began as a personal project evolved into a dedicated niche in the cosplay and content creation world, focusing on the honest craft of lighting and visual storytelling.

Indie Authorship

Writing is where I process ideas and share perspectives on fantasy and empowerment. As an indie author, I balance publishing and storytelling with the realities of being a husband, father, and full-time worker. My work spans from the epic fantasy world of 'A Spirit's Tale' to plain-spoken guides on internal growth, like 'Glow From Within'. Every book is an honest reflection of my journey as a creator since 2020.

Informed by Understanding

The empowerment messages within my work aren't just fluff; they are built on a foundation of genuine interest in the human experience. I hold a TQUK Level 2 qualification in counselling skills, which provides the context for my creative outlets and the core values I represent as a creator and author from Beverley.

I am not a practising counsellor and this site does not offer counselling services. If you need professional support, please reach out to a qualified professional or your GP.

An Honest Timeline of Growth

Everything started during the 2020 lockdown.

My journey began as a creative and fun way to pass the time and eventually became something so much more.

What started with paint, cameras and an idea, slowley turned into a form of expression I didn't even realise I needed.

With the love and support of my beautiful wife and a steady circle of very loyal followers I began to believe in the possibility of "what if."

What if I could make a difference?

What if I could change the world with laughter?

What if I could change the world with honesty, creativity and compassion?

Over time I realised that the journey was never just about content or social media, it was about connection.

About giving people a reason to smile, to escape, to feel understood, and sometimes simply to feel less alone.

2020

2022 — 2024

Expansion and evolution.

This period saw the transition from content creator to indie author. Balancing a full-time job and family life, I published across multiple genres including fantasy, childrens literature and eventually with another gentle push from my loyal friends, family and followers, poetry.

Poetry was always personal for me.

For the longest time, I wasn't even comfortable reading it aloud to two people, never mind sharing it publicly with thousands online.

It came from a very honest and vulnerable place, and putting those thoughts into the world felt intimidating in ways I can hardly explain.

But the encouragemnet I received from the people around me slowly helped me find the confidence to share that side of myself.

Looking back now, I'm incredibly grateful that I did.

Publishing my poetry opened a completely different door creatively and emotionally. It allowed me to lean more into self-empowerment, positivity and honest conversations about life, struggle, growth and healing.

What started as writing for myself gradually becasme writing for others too - words intended to comfort, encourage and inspire.

Today, all the creative outlets converge here. This site stands as an honest home base for my message: that personal empowerment and creative change are possible around the edges of a busy life. We are just getting started in 2026.
